Guidelines for acceptable behavior when using our chat. Thanks.
NO ADVERSTISING OR SPAMMING
- You may not spam inside the Chat.
- You may not advertise for businesses, organizations, political campaigns, or personal causes with one exception: the Chat would not be possible without White Wolf, so you may go buck-wild with praise and promotion for the company.
- No creating login names that incorporate a url or advertisement.
- Do not flood.
NO SOLICITATION OR ILLEGAL BEHAVIOR
- You may not promote or engage in activities and/or behavior in violation of US Federal Law: including, but not limited to, drug use, sexual contact with a minor, computer hacking, copyright violations, violent crimes, and/or rape.
- You may not solicit other players for their personal information, including account names, passwords, Social Security Numbers, bank accounts, and the like. Anyone found attempting to engage in any degree of identity theft will be summarily banned and their IP address forwarded to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
- You may not use products illegally downloaded from file-sharing programs.
- Don't hack the Chat or do anything disruptive and evil like that.
NO HATE SPEECH OR SLANDER
- You may not engage in hate speech. We do not allow people to sling racial, religious, or other epithets.
- You may not discriminate against others on the Chat on the basis of gender, race, ethnicity, citizenship, disability, education, SES, sexual orientation, religion, or anything else you know for a fact is going to cause issues.
- Treat the staff of the Chat with respect - they work hard. If you have criticism, file a complaint instead of unleashing diatribes on the Chat.
- You may not publicly slam or debase White Wolf or any of their employees, no matter your personal experiences with them or the company.
RESPECT YOUR FELLOW PLAYERS AND THE CHAT
- If someone tells you that you are making them uncomfortable, please stop whatever it is that you're doing.
- Do not yell or antagonize other players OOC. If you have a complaint about some one's behavior, file a complaint.
- Refrain from cussing excessively OOC if at all possible. Repeatedly tossing out the f-word or c-word is going to get you in hot water.
